Part 1, Allied troops march in Paris. Part 2, shows Romania's King Michael as he proclaims war on Germany. Part 3, U.S. troops land in Southern French and advance inland. Part 4, allied troops and tanks advance through French villages, bombs explode on targets, planes strafe German positions, and shoot down a V-1 bomb. Includes a panorama of German dead and smashed German equipment. Gens. Eisenhower and Patton meet. Part 5, shows an allied convoy, troops, and supplies at Naples. Troops from the convoy go ashore near Toulon, advance inland, and are joined by Free French forces. Paratroops jump from C-47 transports over French German prisoners are marched to the rear. Shows Gen. de Gaulle.
